Dear All
I am a member of " HarshaSatsangh - Ramana Guru " where as
a humble contribution to the group , I am submitting the English translation of the forty verses , progressively.
Please find below the translation I had sofar submitted .
Verse 1.
As we are in the world that we see, which is,
The Supreme energy manifested in many forms
In that origin we believe in unison , and HE indeed
Is the portrait, the canvass , the light and the seer.
In Sum : When He is the Seer , the Seen and Seeing , whatever you see is Him , and you are He .
Verse 2.
The three entities are the founding front for any religion
To say that one is all or three is but three
Is only till the false ego persists
To sever the I, to be seated in self, is ultimate.
[ Three entities : The living entity , the Supreme , the world ]
In Sum : The ultimate is to douse the false ego , not to opinionate.
Verse 3 :
The world is real or unreal? World is intellect or not?
The world is bliss or not? Why on that deliberate?
Turn away the world, turn into the Self. Devoid of dichotomy,
Devoid of ego , that state is the state chosen to be in.
In Sum: Desire not the dichotomy , Be situated in the egoless Self.
Verse 4:
If the self has a form, so do They, the world and the Supreme
If the self does not have a form, who can see Their form?
Can there be a sight without eyes?
That eye is the Self , the eye without bounds.
In Sum: When Self Sees Self , there is no form or formlessness.
Verse 5:
This body is a form of five material sheaths
So these five sheaths are enfolded in the word body
Is there any world without body?
Had one seen the world without the body?
In Sum: The material world is no different from the material body .
Verse 6:
World is no more than the form of five sense objects
Those five sense objects are sensed by the five senses,
Only the mind perceives the world through the five senses,
So, can there be world without mind ?
In Sum : The world is what the mind perceives .
Verse 7:
Albeit the world and the intellect, as one, rise and set
The world is enlightened by the intellect.
Room for the world and intellect to rise and set , is from
That radiant absolute, that is not to rise and set, that is the truth.
In Sum : The truth is not the world , not the mind , but the absolute
Yours
