Dear members,
Following the practice we started in the yahoo group, we're now going to look at the first, the benedictory verse of the Supplement to the Forty Verses. As has been our normal practice, we can read them straight through, just letting the sounds sink into mind.
In much the same way we learned out mother tongues by merely hearing and gaining familiarity:etankaNNee | nilaiyaaki | yirunt’idumiv | vulakamellaa | metana | t’ellaa | | metaninR’iv | vanaitt’ulaku | mezhumoomaR | R’ivaiyaavu | metanpo | ruddaa | | metanaaliv | vaiyamelaa | mezhunt’idumiv | vellaamu | metuvee | yaaku | | matutaanee | yuLaporuLaañ | sattiyamaa | massorupa | makattil | vaippaam |
... and when ready, heading over to the sub-board of this sections will reveal the Tamil breakdown, as well as the English molecules:

Line by Line (from the break-down made from chatting with Rob): 1. That in which this entire world exists and to which it all belongs (The arena in which....)2. ..From which this entire world arises, and ,...what are all these things for?3. Through what agency has this entire universe arisen, and what actually is it?4. That indeed is the Reality. It is the Truth. Let us place (or worship) that Self-'form' in the Heart.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ That which is the Support, the Soul, the Source, the Purpose and the Power of all this world, the Reality behind all this Appearance, That indeed exists. Let That, the Truth, abide in our Heart. ( Yoga Vasishta, 8, v.12) (From the pdf version of Collected Works available online)~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ That in which this entire world is established, to which it pertains, out of which it arises, for which it exists, by which it comes into being, and which it really is — that is the Self-existent Reality, the Truth. Let us worship That in the heart.(From an older printed copy of Collected Works published by Sri Ramanasramam in 1968)
